WHAT CAN OSTEOPATHY DO FOR YOU?
Osteopathy is a whole body approach philosophy. It is a manual therapy where we use gentle adjustments to guide your body into a more homeostatic position. We do not target symptoms but instead look for root causes of pain or discomfort. Many times I will treat patients and issues will clear up and get better that they never came to me for initially. The body is a connected, dynamic unit of function and every part of it works together to make up the whole. We help to set you up, so your body can do what it was made to do! Whether its knee pain, headaches, digestive issues, or anything that gets in the way of your normal, a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner can help!
ABOUT ME
Caleb McCleary (M. OMSc, BA Kin)
My name is Caleb McCleary and I am a recent graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. My formal title is Manual Osteopathic Practitioner with an M.OMSc.

I got to this point in my career through a number of different, but similar avenues. I started as a young ambitious athlete who had a dream of rowing for Team Canada at the Olympic summer games. After qualifying for Team Canada and rowing professionally for a year, I had a back injury that left me unable to walk for a number of days. I tried many conventional means of therapy while I studied at Western University to get a degree majoring in Kinesiology. I had a passion for the human body, how it worked, and thought I would pursue a postgraduate degree in medicine or physical therapy.

My life changed when I met an Osteopath who looked at things differently, and was the first person who was able to help me recover from that back injury that had plagued me for over a year. I was hooked! I took the plunge and studied for 4 more years after my undergrad to become an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner.
During that time I used my skills and knowledge gained as a Personal Trainer as a base, to develop the practical skills necessary for an Osteopath to treat people functioning at a wide variety of levels.
I am excited to continue learning, and I hope to help people with each of their individual ailments. We are all different, We all have different histories, and should all be treated differently. But the end goal is the same: a healthy, pain-free existence for everyone!
